Where the work happens

The departments that keep the loop turning.

We're one yard, not a maze of org charts — but the work sorts naturally into a few areas. Wherever you land, you own a real piece of the cycle.

The yard

Sorting, grading, banding, and staging inbound pallets. This is where reuse decisions get made in seconds and the day starts at 7:00 AM sharp.

The repair line

Replacing deck boards, re-nailing and plugging stringers, and rebuilding tired pallets back to grade with reclaimed lumber.

The fabrication shop

Cutting and building custom skids, crates, and specialty units to a customer's size, entry, and load spec — new and reclaimed wood.

The fleet

Local and CDL drivers running our own routes across the tri-state — delivering fresh stock, collecting cores, and being the face of the company at the dock.

Logistics

Routing trucks, scheduling pickups and deliveries, and keeping customers' docks stocked. The coordination that makes the promises we keep.

The inbox

Reading and answering every quote and question that comes in by email, within one business day. Clear, honest, written answers — no phone tag.

What we look for

Skill and effort over polish.

You don't need a fancy resume. You need to show up, take pride in the work, and treat other people's wood — and other people's time — like it matters.

  • Reliable and on time — the yard opens at 7:00 AM and the day depends on it.
  • Comfortable with physical, hands-on work and a real pace.
  • An eye for quality — you can tell a #1 from a #2 once we've shown you.
  • Tool skills for repair and fab roles; a clean record and CDL for driving roles.
  • Honest, straightforward, and easy to work alongside.

What it's like & what you get

Steady work, real ownership, honest pay.

We're small enough that you're a name, not a badge number — and steady enough that the work is here year-round, close to home.

Home every night

Local routes and a fixed yard mean no long hauls and no living out of a truck. You clock out in Cincinnati.

Year-round work

Pallets don't have a season. The work is steady through the calendar, not feast-and-famine.

A crew that respects you

We value skill and effort over politics. Do good work and it gets noticed by the people who own the place.

Real ownership

You run your part of the loop. That means responsibility, but also the satisfaction of a job that's visibly yours.

Room to learn

Yard crew learn grading; sorters learn repair; repair techs learn fabrication. We'd rather grow people than churn them.

A mission worth it

Turning other people's waste into working inventory is honest work you can actually feel good about at the end of the day.

How to apply

One email, a real reply.

No portal, no fifteen-page application. Email us your resume — or just a plain note about your experience — and tell us the role you're after. We read every message and reply to real candidates within a business day or so.

Helpful to include: the kind of work you're looking for (yard, repair, fab, driving, logistics), your relevant experience, whether you hold a CDL, and when you're available to start. If you visited the yard at 5748 Este Ave, mention that too.

Hiring questions

What applicants ask before they email.

How do I apply?

Email your resume or a short note about your experience to info@cincinnatipallet.com and tell us which role you're after. We're email-first, so there's no online portal — a real person reads every message.

Do I need experience with pallets?

Not necessarily. Repair and fabrication roles benefit from tool skills, and driving roles need the right license and record, but for yard and sorting work we care most that you're reliable, hands-on, and willing to learn the grading. We train.

Do driving roles require a CDL?

Some do and some don't — we run both local and CDL routes. Mention in your email whether you hold a CDL and what class, and we'll point you to the right fit.

What are the hours?

The yard runs Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with Saturday mornings 8:00 AM to noon. Most roles are day-shift and local, so you're home every night.

Where is the job located?

At our yard, 5748 Este Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45232. Driving and logistics roles work routes across the OH-KY-IN tri-state but are based out of the same yard.

How soon will I hear back?

We reply to real candidates within about a business day. If your experience fits an open need, we'll follow up by email to set up a conversation.

Not a job seeker — just need pallets?

No problem. Send us your requirements and we'll quote it.
