New doesn't have to mean wasteful
New pallets are worth choosing on purpose, not by default. Before you order new, check whether a Grade A recycled unit meets the real requirement; for many loads it does, for less money and less impact.
When new is genuinely required, a well-built pallet can serve a long life and then be reused, repaired, and reclaimed. Build it well, use it hard, then keep it in the loop.
Construction styles and specs
New builds let you pin down every variable a recycled unit leaves to chance. Choose stringer or block construction, deck-board count and spacing, entry type, and lumber species to match your handling equipment and load.
Stringer pallets are economical and strong for most freight; block pallets give true four-way entry and take pallet-jack access from any side, which matters for automated lines and tight-aisle warehouses.

Export compliance and ISPM-15
International freight on solid-wood packaging must meet ISPM-15. Heat-treated (HT) pallets are kiln-heated to a 56°C core for at least 30 minutes and stamped with the recognized mark. No chemical fumigation, no bark.

Can I get heat-treated pallets for export?
Yes. Ask for ISPM-15 heat-treated (HT) pallets with the proper stamp. HT means kiln-treated to a 56°C core for 30 minutes, with no fumigation.
Can I get a non-standard size new?
Yes. New builds are the easiest way to hit an exact footprint. Send drawings or dimensions with your request.
When is a new pallet worth it over recycled?
When the spec genuinely requires it: a strict customer spec, automated handling that needs consistent dimensions, or customer-facing appearance. For most internal and domestic freight, a Grade A recycled unit does the same job for less.
Block or stringer — which should I order?
Stringer is the economical default and handles most freight. Choose block if you need true four-way entry, pallet-jack access from any side, or you're feeding an automated / AS/RS line.
What lead time should I expect on new pallets?
It depends on size, spec, and quantity. Standard 48×40 GMA is usually fastest; custom specs and export treatment add time. Put your timeframe on the form and the reply will give a window.
Can I get new pallets built to a load rating?
Yes. Include the weight, whether it's a static, dynamic (moving), or racking load, and how it's supported, so the deck, stringers, and fasteners can be sized to suit.
