The whole-pallet philosophy
We measure ourselves by how little leaves as waste. A pallet that fails inspection isn't trash — it's a bundle of boards, a handful of blocks, and, at the very end, a scoop of mulch.
That's why makers and small builders love us: the same reclaimed hardwood that would otherwise be chipped becomes a tabletop, a headboard, or a barn-wood feature wall. Come by the yard at 5748 Este Ave and dig through the racks.
It's the same idea that runs the whole company — wood that refuses to retire. Reuse the pallet, then repair it, then rebuild from its parts, then sell the parts to people who'll give them a whole second life.
What's on the racks
Our accessory inventory is whatever a dismantled pallet yields, sorted and made ready to buy. Structural pieces go to repairs and builders; character boards go to makers; the rest becomes mulch and fuel.
Stock rotates constantly as cores come apart, so weathered patina, board width, and species vary. That's the appeal for décor work — and worth an email ahead if you need a specific look or quantity.

Reclaimed pallet hardwood is denser and more characterful than most big-box lumber, and every board you buy is a board that didn't get chipped. It's greener, cheaper, and it has a story.

Can I buy reclaimed boards for a DIY project?
Yes — we welcome small orders. Tell us roughly how many boards and what look you're after and we'll pull a bundle. Email info@cincinnatipallet.com; we reply within one business day.
Is your mulch treated?
Our mulch is ground from clean, sorted pallet wood. Ask about current stock and any dye options when you order — availability rotates.
Do you sell mulch in bulk by the yard?
Yes, mulch is sold in bulk / by the yard. Tell us roughly how many yards you need and where it's going and we'll quote it and arrange loading or delivery.
Are the boards de-nailed and ready to use?
We de-nail and sort reclaimed boards, but reclaimed wood is reclaimed — check for the occasional missed fastener and expect natural variation in width, color, and patina. That character is the point for most décor work.
Can I buy pallet parts to repair my own pallets in-house?
Absolutely. Many operations buy stringers, blocks, deckboards, and fasteners from us to run their own repair benches. Tell us your pallet size and volumes.
What species of wood do you have?
Mostly mixed hardwood (oak is common) and SPF softwood, since that's what pallets are built from. Stock rotates as pallets come apart, so email ahead if you need a specific species or quantity.
Can I come pick reclaimed wood in person?
Yes — come by the yard at 5748 Este Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45232 and dig through the racks. A quick email first lets us confirm current stock and yard hours.
